Ohlalalala lalalala!

Christmas is my absolute favourite holiday. I LOVE FAIRY LIGHTS!
My bedroom isn't very Christmas-y this year, because of the fact that I have had no money for the Christmas holidays. But after Christmas, I'm going to turn my bedroom into a pink and princessy wonderland! I'll be trading my bunk bed for a single bed and making a canopy to go over my bed. I need some new bits, like a duvet cover (Hello Kitty of course), a laundry bin, posters, cushions, fairy lights (= loveeee <3).I'll be making over my desk to be a dressing table. I inherited an antique dressing table set from my great-grandmother because she left us (Rest in peace my Nanna). It has a 2 brushes, a comb and a hand mirror. The back of each item (except for the comb) has a beautiful blue rose on it.
I might get a little bookcase too for my copies of G&LB, various books, my journal, my Dream Book (I'll explain what that is later) and to put photo frames on. But yea, back to Christmas.
My Wishlist for this year:

  • A new phone (Pink LG Cookie)
  • Alice In Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass
  • A digital camera
  • Some Hello Kitty stuff (Hello Kitty Secret Pillow from Argos <3)
  • Some new phone straps
  • Kamikaze Girls (Both the movie and the book)
  • Some more G&LB <3
What do you want for Christmas? I wish I had the money to get a new outfit but sadly I don't.
Some daily outfits for you (Sorry about the red eye orz):

Daily Outfits 22nd December 2009 & 24th December 2009
  • Blouse: Matalan/Top: Mom's
  • Skirt: Primark/Skirt: Primark
  • Necklace: Gift from Mom/Hairbow: Handmade - "Tartan Bows" fabric £3.99
  • Socks (Not Pictured): New Look/Socks: New Look

This will probably be my last post until after New Years so...

And have a lovely New Year.

International Lolita Day!

Monday, 7 December 2009 |

On Saturday, I had some of my lovely lolita girlfriends over for a day of crafty fun! But first, some information about International Lolita Day:
International Lolita Day, or "LoliDay", is a bi-annual event that takes place on the first Saturdays of both June and December. These dates were chosen so lolitas could show off their fun switch between summer and winter clothing. Usually on these days, lolitas would meet up and do fun lolita activities such as making cakes, crafts, watching movies, shopping, photoshoots etc. Since I celebrated my first LoliDay in winter, we stayed in an each took to our own unique crafts and all had something to take home at the end (except Steph, her's got messed up but I'm going to fix it for her and give it to her soon ^^).

We took loads of pictures on the day of everything we did. I made a hair comb partly using a tutorial in G&LB vol. 5 (TokyoPop Ver.). Miss Vicci made a Ragamuffin of her fiance Ken with the help of Miss Steph. Miss Zoe made a plushie bunny which was absolutely adorable! Miss Titanya also made a Ragamuffin ^^
Next LoliDay will include a trip to Paris for the day to visit the BABY, The Stars Shine Bright store! How exciting!
And now, pictures!

I hope you all had a wonderful LoliDay!

No Utada?!

No Utada?!

Mark paid for tickets for all of us to go see Utada Hikaru (Hikki-Chan)'s "In The Flesh" concert at the O2 Academy in Islington. Yay, right?

No. Not Yay. Because today he received the following email:

"Dear TicketWeb customer,
We are writing to you regarding the tickets you have ordered for the Utada event at O2 Academy Islington on 12 February 2010.
We are sorry to inform you that due to an administrative error on our part, your booking was processed in error, and was not part of the allocation of tickets we were instructed to sell on behalf of the venue." Blah Blah Blah...

So I'm really annoyed.

Kidnapped!

I got kidnapped by Mark, Zoe and Dan on Saturday and got taken all the way to London for ALCL! It was a very unexpected and wonderful surprise. I had so much fun. The people there were so lovely and I became good friends with a particularly lovely guy called Dave. When we were all fed up with the atmosphere at ALCL, we hopped on the Tube for a visit to Trocadero where Dave and I danced the day away on various dance machines. We also took a visit to TokyoToys, Japan Centre Bookstore and Food Store and a Chinese resturaunt for dinner. All in all, a really awesome day.

The DSi was a failure... GIVE IT UP NINTENDO!

The DSi was a failure... GIVE IT UP NINTENDO!

Today on DannyChoo.com was the (sad, sad) annoucement of the new DSi LL, due to be released in Japan on November 21st. Europe won't get it until April ~ May 2010 (thank god -_-;) It will weigh EXACTLY 100g more than the DSi and 96g more than the DS Lite (I didn't actually know the DS Lite weighed more...) I think the only good thing is that the screen is bigger and probably a faster CPU for better graphics on games.
My little DS Lite is just right for me, only it lags a little when I play fast paced games like Rhythm Paradise, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Cooking Mama 2 and even Nintendogs. But it's nice and light, a good size screen, compact and it's pink ^^
I'm sick of Nintendo's unneccessary upgrades to their products. They should have left the DS as it was when they made the DS Lite. God help us if they decide to make a new Wii console... -_-;

FFS, I just sat down to type and the bloody Xbox finished copying.
I give up.

Otaku Frilly Babe

Otaku Frilly Babe

I went to the London MCM Expo this weekend. It was absolutely amazing! All the cosplayers! O.O
I adored meeting all the brilliant cosplayers and seeing all the lovely costumes. There were some Resident Evil cosplayers going around scaring everyone. One girl got chased by the guy because she screamed and ran away. It was horrible for her but a right laugh for everyone else!
I went with my mom, my sister and the SAS.

This is what I wore. I made this dress with my mom. It was so warm and comfy to wear. It was a lovely puffy dress. No petticoat required! And it fits Mikey, though it's a little short to be lolita on Mikey...
My sister went as Mew Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew. She kept getting stopped by everyone for pictures! Someone wanted a picture as soon as we got off the train at Waterloo!
This is the part of the SAS we travelled with.
The first one is our Miku! That's Mark! It's a trap!
Isn't he lovely? He looked so cute in his outfit, if only he had the pigtails and a leek! You could tell that he was missing his leek because he kept moving his arm up and down. Poor Miku-chan!

Captain Jack Sparrow, The Giant Death Note and a lovely lolita girl!
Well, that's all for today ^^ More later.
