You know, I don't even know why I am writing. I just felt like it I guess.

I'm playing a long game of 60 Minute Makeover with my bedroom. Stage 1 is complete, I've moved out the bunk bed and moved in the single bed. I also cleared my desk of all the junk that was on it and started setting it out as a dressing table. (I need a mirror orz)

I've also set aside 2 drawers [so far] to be my "Lolita Drawers". These will hold my shoes, accessories, handbags, off-season skirts and bloomers (when I make some). All of my in-season stuff is hung up in my wardrobe ready to be worn.

Mikey now has his own shelf for the clothes he leaves at mine when he stays over. He only has shirts and PJ bottoms on it at the moment. But it is a shelf and it is Mikey's. Love you Mikey ! x

Next up is to get the fabric for my princess canopy, the fabric for the wall decorations and get a mirror.

Oh mi gosh, I finally read Alice In Wonderland! In it's original context as well. It's a brilliant book, though it is very bizarre. I'd give it an overall score of 4 out of 5. -1 point for the beginning, it started rather slowly in my opinion.

I also watched the TV movie "Alice in Wonderland" starring Tina Majorino and Whoopi Goldberg. It was fantastic but I didn't like the fact that towards the end it started to run into the story of Through The Looking Glass. 3 out of 5 for that one.

Right, ramble over I think. Time for bed! Night all!

I got a lot of nice stuff for Christmas, including a new phone (LG KP501 "Cookie"), and had a lovely day with my family.
I also saw my friend Dave the day after Boxing Day. :3
We had a lovely day together, went for lunch, a walk in the park, had a few games on the dance machine and enjoyed some yummy hot milkshakes from Shakeaway. I really enjoyed it and I hope he comes around again soon. <3

And finally New Years came around. We spent it with some friends, had nibbles and I took a walk in the dark to work it off. We stayed up until midnight drinking and playing Buzz TV Quiz then Mikey rang and we saw the New Year in together.

- To save up enough money for a new camera
- To buy at least one brand lolita dress
- To lose enough to fit into my one brand lolita dress

Deck The Halls With Lots Of Sparkles!

Ohlalalala lalalala!

Christmas is my absolute favourite holiday. I LOVE FAIRY LIGHTS!
My bedroom isn't very Christmas-y this year, because of the fact that I have had no money for the Christmas holidays. But after Christmas, I'm going to turn my bedroom into a pink and princessy wonderland! I'll be trading my bunk bed for a single bed and making a canopy to go over my bed. I need some new bits, like a duvet cover (Hello Kitty of course), a laundry bin, posters, cushions, fairy lights (= loveeee <3).I'll be making over my desk to be a dressing table. I inherited an antique dressing table set from my great-grandmother because she left us (Rest in peace my Nanna). It has a 2 brushes, a comb and a hand mirror. The back of each item (except for the comb) has a beautiful blue rose on it.
I might get a little bookcase too for my copies of G&LB, various books, my journal, my Dream Book (I'll explain what that is later) and to put photo frames on. But yea, back to Christmas.
My Wishlist for this year:

• Alice In Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass

International Lolita Day!

On Saturday, I had some of my lovely lolita girlfriends over for a day of crafty fun! But first, some information about International Lolita Day:
International Lolita Day, or "LoliDay", is a bi-annual event that takes place on the first Saturdays of both June and December. These dates were chosen so lolitas could show off their fun switch between summer and winter clothing. Usually on these days, lolitas would meet up and do fun lolita activities such as making cakes, crafts, watching movies, shopping, photoshoots etc. Since I celebrated my first LoliDay in winter, we stayed in an each took to our own unique crafts and all had something to take home at the end (except Steph, her's got messed up but I'm going to fix it for her and give it to her soon ^^).

We took loads of pictures on the day of everything we did. I made a hair comb partly using a tutorial in G&LB vol. 5 (TokyoPop Ver.). Miss Vicci made a Ragamuffin of her fiance Ken with the help of Miss Steph. Miss Zoe made a plushie bunny which was absolutely adorable! Miss Titanya also made a Ragamuffin ^^

Next LoliDay will include a trip to Paris for the day to visit the BABY, The Stars Shine Bright store! How exciting!

No Utada?!

No Utada?!

Mark paid for tickets for all of us to go see Utada Hikaru (Hikki-Chan)'s "In The Flesh" concert at the O2 Academy in Islington. Yay, right?

No. Not Yay. Because today he received the following email:

"Dear TicketWeb customer,
We are writing to you regarding the tickets you have ordered for the Utada event at O2 Academy Islington on 12 February 2010.
We are sorry to inform you that due to an administrative error on our part, your booking was processed in error, and was not part of the allocation of tickets we were instructed to sell on behalf of the venue." Blah Blah Blah...
So I'm really annoyed.

Kidnapped!

Kidnapped!

I got kidnapped by Mark, Zoe and Dan on Saturday and got taken all the way to London for ALCL! It was a very unexpected and wonderful surprise. I had so much fun. The people there were so lovely and I became good friends with a particularly lovely guy called Dave. When we were all fed up with the atmosphere at ALCL, we hopped on the Tube for a visit to Trocadero where Dave and I danced the day away on various dance machines. We also took a visit to TokyoToys, Japan Centre Bookstore and Food Store and a Chinese resturaunt for dinner. All in all, a really awesome day.
